A Vancouver Island man has pleaded not guilty to two counts of sexual assault in connection to an incident in a Colorado hotel room.
30-year-old Colby Messer was arrested when he returned to the United States in March.
He was initially charged with six counts of sexual assault in connection with a violent incident involving a 27-year-old woman at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Denver, Colorado.
In August, a judge found probable cause to proceed with two of the six counts. The other four counts were dismissed.
His next court appearance is slated for November 28th.
