An annual spring time tradition lifted the spirits of those at the Our Place shelter in Victoria.
The Easter bunny and many of his friends volunteered to serve up a delicious meal with all the trimmings to appreciative diners Tuesday afternoon.
Turkey, potatoes and gravy warms the bellies and hearts of those packed into the dining room. Our Place expected to serve a thousand Easter meals today.
Staff say 450 pounds of turkey and 500 pounds of potatoes were served up.
On an average day, Our Place serves 2,000 meals to between 600 and 800 people.
